THANK YOU to everyone who stood together in prayer during this all-inclusive, region-wide demonstration of our unity, and of our unified desire for God's glory poured out on this land.
What now?
We see the RWC event as an Ebenezer, a rock of remembrance, a mile-marker in the history of this land—and in the history of the Church in this land. It marks the day that we stood together before the LORD, as many and varied members, to acknowledge and declare ourselves one Body united under our true Head. We affirmed one another’s value, significance, calling, talent, gifting and vital portion as co-laborers in Christ. We confessed— and rejoiced in! -- our utter dependence on God’s Holy Spirit.
For one day, in all tongues & in all locations, we cried out with the same mind to our One Father, by that One Spirit, in that One Name, for one thing: the manifestation of the glory of God in the Arabian Peninsula. As with every great work of God, it has begun with our repentance toward Him and each other. Be encouraged! This is a necessary and vital step! 2 Timothy 2:19-23 has to happen before 2:24-25. : )
In the days, weeks, and months to come, let us keep praying in this spirit of unity. We have no way of knowing everyone who participated and how far the invitation traveled, since each person reached out to their own sphere of relationships, and then those people reached out to theirs, etc. That means there is no human way for us to follow up. In other words, we won't know how God is answering our unified prayer efforts until we start to hear your testimonies. The RWC website exists as a place to share those stories because we know that our God answers prayer. We believe that the He put the idea of RWC into our hearts and made it a reality. So we are expecting great things!
To that end, the RWC website has been set up so people can post testimonies without revealing their identities or locations. That way it is possible to hear from everyone, even those of us in sensitive areas, without causing security concerns. Please be sure to use pretend names for people & places you mention in your posts. Use the Comments section below, or the Contact Us page. May each of our stories exalt the LORD, and fan that holy fire in the heart of His Church.
Let us each be faithful to make known, to give thanks, praise, honor & glory to our God for His wonderful works in our areas, and in our own lives. May the Name of our God become a Holy buzzword throughout the AP and beyond. May the news of His mighty acts spread like wildfire, causing many who are groping in darkness to seek His face! Amen.
